LUCS seminar: May 7th, 10.15 Paula Quinon. "Cognitive Structuralism"

In my talk, I present a new type of position within the core cognition paradigm, inspired by structuralism in the philosophy of mathematics. I call it "cognitive structuralism”. I explore the possibility of using the innate sensitivity to syncopation (beat induction) to explain the structural properties of the natural number progression.
