2021 Thomas Metzinger

Thomas Metzinger is a cognitive scientist and professor of theoretical philosophy at Johannes Gutenberg University. His focus area is the interdisciplinary study of classical philosophical questions about the human consciousness and self. Recently, he has become interested in ethics and artificial intelligence. He has written books such as "Being No One" and "The Ego Tunnel".
