I have been a PhD student in theoretical philosophy since the autumn 2023. My primary interests are in philosophy of language, communication, intentionality and animal communication. My doctoral project focuses on the role of intentions and linguistic meaning in human communication. Specifically, I am investigating how phenomena such as speaker meaning, understanding and implicatures can be based on both speaker intentions and linguistic meaning. I also have a background in cognitive science and am interested in evolutionary perspectives on communication.
