Real time Implementation of a Blind Beamformer for Subband Speech Enhancement using Kurtosis Maximization
This paper presents a real time implementation of a blind beamformer for subband speech enhancement. The beamformer adaptivelymaximizes the statistical kurtosis measure of the beamformer’soutput signal. Speech carries high kurtosis and noiseoften exhibit lower kurtosis.
