En femtedel av Sveriges vuxna befolkning har tinnitus och de flesta har även en hörselnedsättning. Nu visar forskare vid Lunds universitet att en enkel undersökning för att ställa in hörapparaten rätt, kan göra att hörapparaternas lindrande effekt på tinnitus kan fördubblas.
