Hon blev kvar för doktorandtjänst, och efter bland annat jobb i Danmark återvände hon 2023 som lektor på Lunds universitet.Magdalena Naum began studying archaeology in Kraków in the late 1990s, and went to Lund as an exchange student because of her interest in Scandinavia and the Viking Age. She stayed for a doctoral position, and after working in Denmark for a while, she returned to Lund in 2023 as a senior lecturer.
