The department of Philosophy is thrilled to welcome everyone to Jiwon Kim's public PhD defense. Title of her thesis is  How to Guide with Words: Moral Advice as a Speech Act.

Faculty examiner is Knightbridge Professor of Philosophy Rae Langton (University of Cambridge, Newham College). 

The examining committee consists of 

Associate professors Olle Blomberg (University of Gothenburg) and Johan Brännmark (Stockholm University), and adjunct professor Laura Caponetto (University of Milan) with Professor Ingar Brink (LU) as substitute.

Associate professor Björn Petersson will chair the event.
