Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur kvinnor som varit utsatta för våld i nära relationer upplevde sitt deltagande i bildterapi. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med åtta kvinnor som deltog i en tolv veckor lång bildterapibehandling i grupp arrangerad av Brottsofferjouren och Kvinnojouren. Materialet analyserades med tematisk analys och åtta teman identifierades.
