We propose a novel, real-time algorithm for recoloring images to improve the experience for a color vision deficient observer. The output is temporally stable and preserves luminance, the most important visual cue. It runs in 0.2 ms per frame on a GPU.

This paper describes a radio-tracking study of Osmoderma eremita, a large Scarabaeid beetle, living in hollow trees. The study seems to be the first in which radio telemetry has been used with a flying insect in the field. The aim of this short paper is to present an ongoing joint research project, Human Factors in Air Navigation Services (HUFA), between the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration and Lund University. Results from the study will only be given very briefly. The project focuses on human and organizational factors and safety in air traffic control.
