I denna forskningsmiljö studerar vi värd-patogen interaktioner ur ekologiska, evolutionära och funktionella perspektiv. Vi är intresserade av immunsystemets evolution och av att förstå hur värd-patogen interaktioner påverkar det inflammatoriska svaret och konsekvenserna av en infektion, inklusive fördröjda ("dolda") effekter som minskar reproduktion och livslängd.
