Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur familjevåld påverkar bedömningen av barnets bästa i frågor om vårdnad, boende och umgänge. Med våld avses våld riktat mot någon annan i familjen än barnet. Jag har använt mig av tre frågeställningar för att lyfta fram vilken betydelse våldet har för barnet. Den första frågeställningen är mer övergripande och handlar om hur våldet påverkar barnets bästa.
