The use of operating procedures at a nuclear power plant is of great importance. But improper composed procedures will increase the probability for mistakes. An inspection of the operating work at Ringhals AB carried out by WANO, has shown shortages in the way procedures are used. WANO suggests that procedures should be graded according to their importance of safety for the facility and for usage.
