Effects of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids on left ventricular function and coronary flow in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus

Purposes: It has earlier been suggested that dietary supplementation with N-3 Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids (n-3 PUFAs) could have beneficial effects on cardio- vascular system patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus (DM1).
