Youngjae Lih receives Beckers Art Award

Cancerfonden satsar på unga forskare

Med fokus på unga forskare i början av sina karriärer har Cancerfonden beslutat att dela ut 135 miljoner kronor. Pengarna går till 49 forskartjänster varav nio forskartjänster går till Lunds universitet. Bland de som får anslag är Jiten Sharma, postdoktor vid Lunds universitet, som forskar om hur järn från till exempel luftföroreningar och cigarettrök kan bidra till utvecklingen av lungcancer.  –
